Sit With Yourself

In 2013 after a traumatic experience I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease.

I came to a road where I was about to lose a part of me but later realise I’d gained so much more. At the time it felt lonely. I was confused, in pain and afraid.

I decided to move from a place of other people’s comfort. The more I sat in this space, the more I began to see my life was not theirs to dictate. I wanted better and wanted things to make sense again.
I had to break it all down and rebuild.

I had to take a risk and it was that I was most afraid of. I was about to walk a path I had no guidance down. There was no road map and no instructions.

During these times it is the most important that we sit with ourselves.

It is our own decisions that fuel us during this crossroads, much more than other peoples decision for us

I sat with myself in thought. The whole world was moving around me but my whole being was out of sync. I had to get re-grounded.

I didn’t know it at the time but this was the beginning of Alchemystic.
